Center for prosthetics and orthotics

The center for prosthetics and orthotics produces and applies prostheses, orthoses, epitheses and orthopedic shoes and ensures the development of knowledge and doctrine in the related field. It cooperates with other departments and units of the institute and with renowned institutions around the world, which ensures successful and high-quality prosthetic and orthotic application. The center serves as the training base for the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Ljubljana, study course in prosthetics and orthotics. The center carries out specialization and postgraduate programs in the field of prosthetics and orthotics for healthcare and other experts.
