Privacy policy
This privacy policy applies to users of the http://uri-soca.si website. 
We protect personal data against unauthorised or illegal use or processing and against accidental loss or destruction or damage by technical and organisational measures.
In addition to us, the contractual processor who maintains and hosts our website also has access to personal data. 
Personal data is not transferred to third countries or international organisations.
We keep personal data until the purposes for which it was collected are fulfilled unless a longer retention period is prescribed by law. Personal data obtained on the basis of consent shall be kept until revoked. After the revocation, we process personal data only for the purposes of asserting and opposing legal claims for the time when they can be enforced or until the prosecution of criminal offences or misdemeanour expires. In the event of judicial or administrative proceedings being instituted, the retention period shall be extended until the completion of such proceedings.
When visiting the website, the visitor is free to decide whether to consent to the use of analytics cookies. Rejection is of no consequence to them, but we can monitor website traffic statistics and improve the user experience on the website on this basis.

Processing of personal data

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Personal Data Protection Act and other regulations governing the scope and purposes of personal data processing that can be processed by us as a manager.

(a) Visiting the website

The website uses cookies which are essential for the operation of the site as well as analytical cookies. 
The purpose of cookies is to enable the operation and management of website visit statistics. The legal basis for the processing of personal data in the matter of cookies, which are necessary for the operation of the website, is the law (second paragraph of Article 157 of the Electronic Communications Act), and the consent of the individual user in the case of analytical cookies.    

(b) Participation in a professional event
In relation to organisation and implementation of professional events, we process your personal name, e-mail address, profession, title, information about your employer and information about the payer of participation, which you enter in the online form when registering for professional events, including date and time.  
We need the data for the purpose of ensuring the implementation of a professional event; for the organisation and implementation and for the purposes of information in connection with the professional event.  
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the valid consent of the individual - participant in the professional event. Consent is given when you complete the application form for a professional event and you indicate that you agree that we can use the provided data for the above purposes before submitting your personal data by ticking the appropriate box. 
The individual is not obliged to give consent and you can revoke it at any time, without affecting the legality of the data processing that was carried out on the basis of the consent until its revocation. In the event of cancellation of the processing of personal data for the above purposes, we will no longer process it unless there is another legal basis for the lawful processing of such data.

(c) Enforcing or opposing legal claims
Personal data may also be processed to enforce or oppose legal claims arising from a visit to the website or (non) participation in a professional event, including the assertion and recovery of outstanding claims we have against the user. In this case, we process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests or those of third parties, provided that the interests of the user or fundamental rights and freedoms do not prevail over them.
We also process your personal data when the processing of personal data is necessary for other legitimate interests we pursue (e.g. prevention of personal data breaches, prevention and investigation of fraud and other illegal acts, ensuring the security of personal data and the operation of the website and ensuring smooth operation and responding to potential security threats).
